Why Career Counselling?

People often get into the wrong career, need a change of direction, or simply can’t find a job.  It can be very difficult knowing where to start, and you need to work hard and reflect very carefully in order to find the right job and the right career for you.

What do you really want to do?  How can you find the job of your dreams?
  • Leaving school or college: what do you do now?
  • Going back to work after a gap - it could be for illness or maternity leave for example - where do you start?
  • You have recently been made redundant: how can you move forward?
  • You are in a "rut": how can you use transferable skills to change direction?

You may need help in putting together a CV, writing application letters, researching job sectors, developing transferable skills, preparing yourself for interview, making an important decision about a career move or finding a training course.

Blue Sky Reflections offers a practical approach to career counselling, which focuses on each individual client's problem.  Clients usually only need a few sessions.  Each session lasts fifty minutes and is structured to suit you.  This could be face-to-face, by Skype or telephone, or even by e-mail or Chat.  All Career Counselling is carried out in complete confidence. Sally works out of Cambridge and Geneva.
